A bit About My Journey

"Finding Inspiration at Every Turn"

From childhood dreams of pediatric doctor to a love for programming in high school, my journey took a turn during the COVID-19 pandemic. Witnessing the struggles of the underprivileged without access to vital health information, I redirected my focus to real-time data collection and connecting those in need to medical supplies. My computer science coursework highlighted the power of computation in healthcare, leading me to pursue a Master’s in Health Informatics.  Armed with this degree, I aim to lead research on integrated and interoperable Electronic Health Record Systems, unifying diverse healthcare data and building models for hyper-individualized, data-driven disease prediction, discovery, and treatment.

Healthcare is complicated. It is rapidly changing with the advent of new therapies, new data, and new opportunities. It is a complex environment and getting it right is a challenge. This is an endeavor I am committed to.

A bit about me..

I love to spend my free time listening to music, cooking and posting them on my Instagram food account, reading books, or the most frequent choice, watching “Modern Family ''. I love how every episode of that series ends on a positive note and manages to cheer me up when I’m not feeling very motivated. I also love coding challenges, so whenever I want to do something productive but I’m not in a mood for some serious studying, I work on problems from Hackerrank, Kaggle or Leetcode. The satisfaction of successfully running a program right is indescribable. During the holidays, I love to travel on a low-budget, explore new cities, countries and take pretty photographs! Unpopular opinion but I like Chicago better than NY!
